Only if it is 0 calorie pop, so it'll weigh less.

They look neat but have a terrible L/D ratio! If you could keep them in your pocket, that might work.

Those things are so cool..... I almost bought one years ago.. glad I didn't though as it was a basket case and I never would have gotten it airworthy. That and I really don't fit in them very well.

Dale,

you should check this out.

Diet Randy. Or you could bump the sides out slightly, and do the Corsair thing where you put a small bubble on the top of the canopy. It'd look so fighter like. Let's see, squeeze in 125hp, turbocharger, constant speed prop, cool paint job, hmm. Maybe less trouble to build something from scratch.

Hey Top Notch has some cool plans. The Shrike would be perfect for the guy who likes to do aerobatics with the powere off. aka. Randy Bob (Hoover)

the first training base was Upavon and the first base to have a combat squadron was Netheravon and they were both part of the R.F.C.

Interesting. The collective British appear to have a slight difference of opinion on this issue.

I found that there is a base in Scotland claiming to be the first operational military airfield in Britian. It is named, of all things, Montrose Air Station. It was established in 1913. Check out their web site. http://www.rafmontrose.org.uk/ Since the name Ferguson is Scotch, I lean toward the latter as being the correct one.
